'Fort Kochi Beach Streetfood: Pickles'

00:33 Dec 19, 2021
'Pickled veggies and fruits have come to Kochi from districts of northern Kerala. But these days they are a normal sight in most of the towns in Kerala. A typical pickle vendor may have raw mango, nellikka (Indian gooseberry) and the lovely lovlolika or loovika (Indian cherry) steeped in salt water. These mouthwatering pickles are served plain, with red chilly powder or with masala powder.'
