'Back in 1996, we posted an article by Doug Reade, owner of Reade Books Restoration, a full-service firm in Seattle Washington who is well known for being able to save flood damaged books if processed in time (frozen before mold growth). In this video, I thought I would try out our Harvest Right home freeze dryer to try to salvage some books that I intentionally water logged ( like they were in a flooded basement). Did it work? Not so well.
