Counsel General to Hyderabad of the #IslamicRepublicofAfghanistan to Hyderabad, Muhammad Suleman Kakar, highlighted how #IndoAfghanFestivals are helping bring the two countries closer. A live cooking Demo by Chef Fariba Ali Zada, Chief Chef of #SerenaHotel from #KabulAfghanistan was the highlight of the 10 days event. The Afghan Food Festival commenced on 1st April at the Trident hotel in Madhapur Hyderabad. The event has witnessed keen interest from Hyderabadis including traders. Speaking at the event, Counsel General to Hyderabad of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Muhammad Suleman Kakar, highlighted how Indo-afghan festivals are helping bring the two countries closer. It is a joint initiative between Afghanistan and Hyderabad, India in collaboration with CD Foundation and Trident, Hotel with an aim to promote culture, trade and business between the 2 countries. The food and cultural festival is another step towards reconnecting and reviving age old relations between India and Afghanistan.'
