'Antioxidants are  in vogue  just  how everyone is  talking about antioxidants. Antioxidants  is  not  a substance. It is a group of  food  or  products that we  use  for  better  health. Why do we need  this?  Normal process that goes  on in our  body  releases  certain  by-products one of them  is   oxygen radicals or  free  radicals,  including the pollution, free radicals the food we eat,  all increases the oxidants  in our  skin and  body. This can be damaging to our  body.  An antioxidants rich food  will negate the  effect of these oxygen radicals preventing the  oxidative stress,  and  so the  cell regeneration is  faster,  repair is much better and you feel more energetic, healthy and   your  skin glows.  How do we add that in your diet.  Each  time  you eat  please remember  that  you should add a fruit or  a vegetable with every  meal, even with  your  breakfast.  Remember that nuts   are very good sources of antioxidants.  So do  not forget to have  one  handful  of  nuts every evening or at  snack  time,  rather  than  binging on something oily  or sugary there are certain fruits that are  much  better  than the  rest.  Everything that has Vitamin C. Vitamin C itself is an antioxidant. So all the citrus fruits come into the category, pomegranates are a very good source of antioxidants. Vitamin E rich foods are very good source of antioxidants you have your tomatoes, carrots, they have lycopenes have very good antioxidants.  For lycopene it is very good if you  eat it cooked. So cooked tomatoes are much good than raw tomatoes because the release of lycopenes is higher in these.  Beta  carotenes are  there in  good green, orange, red  vegetables and fruits that also  ac a  an antioxidant  to ultraviolet  light. So it is like your internal sunscreen. So  including these  things  in your diet  that you  normally do and being  a little  more conscious about it and not forgetting to eat it  during the day  will give you  rich  glowing skin and healthy energetic  body.'
