'Have you ever heard of the Mexican street food called Salbutes? I discovered them at a little restaurant across the street from where we stayed in Laguna Bacalar. The chicken salbutes Yucatan specialty is a new favorite.  Imagine a puffed deep-fried tortilla that is topped with pickled cabbage, pulled chicken, sliced avocado, tomato, and red onion. And then add a drizzle of spicy sauce on top. This Yucatán peninsula specialty can also be found in nearby Belize.  This Salbutes street food Mexico can be found in small fast food restaurants, usually just outside a person\'s home.
