'I had to sink my teeth into a snack as we walked the Paseo de la Reforma in Mexico City. The Mexican street food Tortas really hit the spot. It\'s a massive Mexican sandwich you must try.  Tortas are popular street food in Mexico and you will find street vendors everywhere ready to make you a fresh huge sandwich. You can pick from different filling. I chose a pollo con queso torta, or chicken and cheese. I was really good and satisfying.  Make sure to check out the day we spend walking along the Paseo de la Reforma, the grandest avenue in Mexico City. Paseo de la Reforma was modeled after the great boulevards of Europe and you can find tourist attractions, fancy restaurants and hotels, office buildings, and lots of public art.  Don\'t miss the Monumoneto de la Revolution commemorating the Mexican Revolution (1910-1920) and the iconic Ángel de la Independencia, a golden-winged statue of Roman goddess Vicotria which commemorates the independence from Spain.  On Sunday mornings the avenue is closed to cars and opened for cyclists and roller bladers.
