Which colour should I try next?? #maverickbaking #foodchallenge #purplefood MY WEBSITE: http://maverickbaking.com/ Support me on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/maverickbaking THANKS TO ASHLEY, WERLOCK, POUL, NATE AND ENRICO FOR THE PATREON SUPPORT! ~~~~ * ~ WINTER BERRY CRUMBLE RECIPE ~ * INGREDIENTS For the fruit filling: 200g (1 rounded cup) frozen blueberries, blackberries, and/or raspberries 2 tbsp caster sugar 1 tsp vanilla extract For the crumble topping: 150g (1 ⅔ cup) rolled oats 75g (5 tbsp) cold salted butter, cut into small cubes 2 tbsp caster sugar ½ tsp ground cinnamon ½ tsp ground ginger ½ tsp ground mixed spice INSTRUCTIONS For the fruit filling: Preheat your oven – 200 C / 180 C fan / 400 F / gas mark 6. Pour your berries into your chosen serving dish or 4-6 individual serving dishes. Spoon over the sugar and vanilla and mix a little to incorporate. Set aside. For the crumble topping: Place all of your ingredients into a large mixing bowl and rub together with your fingers until you have a chunky crumble with no large lumps of butter. You can blitz them in a food processor for an even faster result! Scatter your lumpy crumble over the berries in your serving dish(es). Bake the crumble(s) in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until the topping is crisp and golden. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving hot with cream, custard or ice cream. Enjoy!
