La Merced is one of our favourite places in the city- it\'s full of delicious local produce and Mexican street food. We take you on a huge street food tour of La Merced to find the market\'s best eats. La Merced is a rabbit warren and it\'s impossible not to get lost which is the joy of it! Tacos de Cabeza- cow\'s head tacos (surtida and cachete) at morning stall outside the entrance to the meat section of La Merced. 2. Pancita (tripe soup) at El Yaqui in Pancita Alley. 3. Longaniza and bistec taco with fries at McTeo (at the start of Pancita Alley). 4. Tepache from a stall outside La Merced in the outdoor market area. 5. Limon con coco (lime with coconut) sweet from a stall in the sweets section.
