Message the mixture into the meat. To season meat, you can use your favorite taco seasoning or try my rub below. Mexican Rub 1 Tbsp of salt 1/2 Tbsp of black pepper 2 tbsp of chili powder (California & New Mexico Chili Powder mixed if available) 1 Tbsp garlic powder 1/2 tbsp Onion powder 1 tbsp of lemon pepper 1/2 tsp of ground oregano 1/2 tsp of ground cumin 1 tsp of smoked paprika Mix all ingredients and place in a shaker or old spice bottle. Marinate meat with rub generously and let sit for about an hour. Cooking: Heat up griddle, pan or grill, this can be done in the kitchen or outside. The meat cooks fairly fast, so I usually cook on lower temps. Roughly about 3 1/2 - 4 mins per side. Once the meat is done, slice in strips to prepare for tacos. Place the prepared veggies in a pan or grill basket and season with the rub you created or taco seasoning. cook until tender or where the onions look translucent. This is about 6 - 8 mins.
