'I have been wanting to record and upload videos of my thoughts for a while now, but have been too afraid and in my own head about the presentation quality, planning, what people will think of me, will people think I am stupid or foolish for putting my thoughts out there and speaking up with my opinions. So, I took the leap and recorded this video ruggedly: my hair is a mess, I am in a hoodie and it is late at night. The lighting is glaring and I pause too much. But if you are reading this, that means that I allowed the scheduled upload to go through and post this video. It means that all the fears and anxiety surrounding the possibility of failure, of ridicule, of shame, that they did not stop me. I overcame those fears and anxieties today, and so can you.
