A 10 day Long #Afghanistan food & cultural festival is being held in #Hyderabad India. The Afghan Food Festival was launched on 1st April at the #TridentHotel in Madhapur Hyderabad. The event has witnessed keen interest from Hyderabadis including traders. At the event, Afghan traders are showcasing world-famous #afghanCarpets, dry fruits, traditional ornaments, and artifice made from #lapisLazuli stones. Speaking at the event, Counsel General to Hyderabad of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to Hyderabad, Muhammad Suleman Kakar, highlighted how Indo-afghan festivals are helping bring the two countries closer. The highlight of the event was a LIVE Cooking Demo by Chef Fariba Ali Zada, Chief Chef of Serena hotel from Kabul Afghanistan. She showcased simple yet exotic Afghan cuisine for the visitors. At the event Mrs. India, Telangana\'s 1st runner up was seen taking a keen interest in #AfghanCuisine and enjoying it. The food and cultural festival is another step towards reconnecting and reviving age-old relations between India and Afghanistan.'
