Brick Lane is really amazing on a Sunday!  One of the hidden gems of London is Brick Lane, a really vibrant market in east London E1.  On a Sunday 10-4pm there is live music, street food from around the world, vintage fashion, bric bracs.  Nearest tube is Aldgate East.  Brick Lane has historically been a safe haven and destination for many generations of immigrants to London.  This part of East London has seen the French Huguenots fleeing from Catholic persecution, Jewish refugees from throughout the world, and most recently the Bangladeshi people who has brought with them their food expertise to the delight of Londoners!  The Brick Lane has also been traditionally a market each sunday selling vintage clothes and homeware, but now it is predominantly a really fantastic street food market.  The incredible variety of food here is staggering, ranging from Shanghai dumplings, to Malaysian sweet cakes, to Gourmet hot dogs.
