'Here is a short video where we freeze dried about 6 pounds of Bay Shrimp in our Harvest Right home freeze dryer. After about 2 weeks, we re-hydrated one tray worth and made some salads for lunch.  The shrimp re-hydrated in just a few minutes and most of us were happy with the texture. Jenny thought they were \"slimy\".  I\'m not sure what that means, but I don\'t think she liked the texture.  The shrimp came in a big frozen bag from our local \"cash and carry\", and I would do these again in a second. The cost of a bag that made 4 trays of shrimp (we used one tray worth in the video) was about $30. Not bad at all!
