'I travelled to Passaic, New Jersey to try Filipino foods for the first time. Watch me react to chicken adobo with oyster sauce (adobong manok) and I try ginisang labanos (Filipino sauteed radish pork and shrimp). I also try maruya (Filipino banana fritters). This restaurant in New Jersey has been open almost 50 years and has some of the best Filipino food around Manhattan. I also go shopping for Filipino groceries. Thank you to the kind staff who had an incredible spread of cooking from the Philippines. This Filipino restaurant is worth the trip! Episode Intel: Philtrade Food Center & Restaurant 231 Main Ave, Passaic, NJ 07055 Reggie Ate: Adobo with Oyster Sauce, guisadong labanos (radish) with shrimp and pork and banana fritters (maruya) made with saba bananas.'
