'We’re trying three Filipino spots in Elmhurst, Queens ranging in price and style! We’re getting Filipino classics like Pandesal, Chicken Adobo, and Halo Halo. But also new fusion items like Chicken Sisig Tacos??? Kape’t Torta - https://www.instagram.com/kapetorta/ Lahi - https://www.instagram.com/lahinewyork/ Kuya’s Lechon - https://www.instagram.com/kuyasnyc/ -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- + CHAT WITH US! IG: https://www.instagram.com/ericxyi Tiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@ericandyi -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- + MUSIC Music by ZARG - utopia (ft. MP3vius) - https://thmatc.co/?l=B8BA294F -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We’re starting our day right, with a delicious pandesal! Kape’t Torta has several options as well as other baked goods to try and we got the Ube Cheese Pandesal, Ensaymada and Strawberry Sago! And lucky for us, Lahi is literally a door over which is where we stopped in for lunch. We highly recommend their Sisig Tacos (they have a chicken option) and Chicken Adobo! Their Dasilog with Egg and Rice are also delicious, and if you’re looking for new flavors, Lahi also has a Corn Shake! - which is like a milkshake but made with corn. And no Filipino food crawl would be complete without Lumpia, so we walked a few blocks away to Kuya’s Lechon! Add this place to your Yelp favorites because their Lumpia is amazing! Our favorite part is that no other Filipino place (that we found) had chicken lumpia, so this is a special treat for us! We ended our Filipino food crawl with desserts, the classic Halo Halo and Turon (crispy banana roll with coconut milk syrup). If you’re looking to spend a day in Queens for a mouth-watering Filipino food crawl then we got you covered! - Eric x Yi #filipinofoodcrawl #wheretoeatnyc #nyccheapeats'
