'New name of coorg is Kodagu, This food journey is dedicated to traditional food of Coorg, During this food journey i realised that if i need to have traditional food of Coorg, then i need to go to home stays, its difficult to find that in restaurants of Coorg Karnataka. Details of homestays and restaurants visited by me is given below. In most home stays of Coorg food is not allowed for outsiders, they offer food to only those people who are staying there in their homestays. Day 1: Atithi Comforts: They have 2 branches in kushal nagar. Eco Habitat: This one actually my best experience on food as everything i experience here was organic in nature. They don’t offer food to outsiders, its only for people who are staying here. Kannika International Lodge: I stayed in this hotel bcoz i wanted to stay in kushal nagar as coffee curing unit i wanted to cover and visit was in kushal nagar area. Shyara Land Estate: Good location but staying cost is high, food was decent at this place, not available for outsiders. Dubare Elephant Camp: Famous tourist attraction of Coorg, i was told that they have about 27 elephants which are under training. Coorg Greens: Great scenic view at this homestay, i enjoyed the food here but at this food only people who are staying here can get food.
