'Bukit Bintang MP Fong Kui Lun told Parliament today that the government does not appear to help non-Muslim owned food companies from being targetted by Muslim NGOs despite being halal-certified. In response to this Deputy Religious Affairs Minister Ahmad Marzuk Shaary said the government does not descriminate as long as the companies comply with the requirements for halal certification.'
